Welcome to Tiegerpoort HOA(Tierpoort)

Your home, your community,
your HOA.

Tiegerpoort HOA — known locally as Tierpoort — runs the security gates that keep livestock safely inside the area, and keeps this community connected. Road upkeep is a municipal responsibility, but the HOA helps organise and fund community projects so it doesn't fall into disrepair. Everything you need as a member lives in your portal: easy access, the road fund, the local directory and more.

Come and go,
day or night.

Tiegerpoort HOA runs the security gates that keep the area's livestock safely in, and holds the community together. Members and their households pass through the gates whenever they like — no waiting, no phone calls.

Getting into Tierpoort

Tierpoort is not a closed area. Anyone can get in — the question is how easily.

During the day

The gate is open to anyone — no app, no call, no membership needed. Members can also swipe for faster, hands-free entry.

At night

Swipe your easy-access tag, or call the control room and security will let you through.

Contact

With easy access

You and your household open the gates from your phone, 24 hours a day. This is what membership gives you.

What your levy pays for

Easy access for your whole household

Family, tenants and the people who work on your plot — all registered, all able to come and go.

Gates that keep going up

One gate is live and more are planned. Every levy moves the next one closer.

A community that is actually organised

One place for your bill, your household register, the WhatsApp groups and what the committee is doing.

Monthly levy
per plot, per month

Ratified by the committee — restated for you before you submit your application. Billed on the 1st. Pay it yourself each month, or set it up once and forget about it.

Join the HOA

Takes about five minutes. You will need proof that you own the plot.

Gate access status

Where the rollout stands today.

Gate rollout status is being finalised. Nkwe Road is live and Tierpoort Road (near the Q4 garage) is next.

Helping the roads hold up

Road maintenance is formally a municipal responsibility, not the HOA's — but the municipality's own pace doesn't always keep the asset from deteriorating. The road fund is the community's own way of assisting: put money behind a specific road, or into the general fund and let the committee decide where it is needed most.

Other things every plot owner needs

Not run by the HOA, but no less important.

Welbekend Fire Protection Association

Veld fire is the risk that can take everything on a smallholding in an afternoon. FPA membership is not optional in practice — it shapes your legal position if a fire starts on or crosses your land, and it puts you inside an organised response instead of outside it.
