Common questions

If your question is not here, the committee would rather you asked than guessed.

Can I get into Tierpoort if I am not a member?

Yes. Tierpoort is not a closed area. The gate is open to anyone during the day, and at night you call the control room and security lets you through. Membership is not permission to enter — nobody needs permission to enter.

What is easy access, then?

Unattended, 24-hour come-and-go through the gates using the Fluss app on your phone. No waiting for the day gate, no phone call after dark. It is what the levy pays for, and it covers everyone registered on your plot — family, tenants and the people who work there.

What happens if I miss a payment?

Easy access is suspended until the account is settled. You can still get in: the gate opens during the day, and at night the control room lets you through, exactly as it would for any visitor. It is an inconvenience, not a lockout, and nothing about it affects your right to be on your own plot.

Who do I add to my household?

Everyone who lives on your plot or comes and goes from it regularly, plus their vehicles. Anyone not on the list is treated as a visitor, which means the day gate or a call to the control room each time. You add and remove people yourself in the member portal; the change takes effect without waiting for anyone to approve it.

Does the HOA fix the roads?

Road maintenance is formally the municipality's job, not the HOA's. The road fund is the community's own way of assisting so the roads do not fall apart while waiting — you can put money behind a specific road or into the general fund and let the committee decide where it is needed most. Anyone may contribute, member or not.

Do I have to join?

No. The HOA is a voluntary association — membership is not a condition of your title deed, and a plot owner may join or resign at any time.

How long does an application take?

The committee reviews applications at their meetings, and you are emailed as soon as there is a decision. Your application has a status page of its own — the link is in the confirmation email — so you can check where it stands without phoning anybody.

What does the HOA do with my ID number?

It verifies who you are and provisions easy access with the security vendor. It is stored encrypted, it is shown to administrators only as the last four digits, and the privacy notice explains what else is held, for how long, and how to ask for it back.

Not answered here?

Send the committee a message. If you are standing at a gate right now, call the control room instead — that is faster and they can open it for you.
